Our festival’s kickoff on the media
This very morning, our co-director, María Martín, announced the programming for this edition of the Pa-ta-ta Festival on the regional radio station Onda Local de Andalucía. She spoke about the exhibitions, workshops, screenings and meetings with artists that will take place until 12 October, all focused on showcasing photography as a tool for awareness and social transformation.
Additionally, María seized this opportunity to emphasize the involvement of students, residents, and cultural groups in the inauguration, stressing the participatory spirit that characterizes the Pa-ta-ta Festival. Click here to listen to the interview.
Likewise, she highlighted one of the most anticipated moments: the award ceremony of the Photography with Social Impact International Award, which will be held on Thursday, October 9 at the Isabel la Católica Theater, an event that is already sold out. María concluded her intervention explaining the festival’s enduring commitment to art that connects and mobilises. She also celebrated the great reception of this edition, which aims to transform Granada into a space of creativity, dialogue, and social awareness through image.
This radio appearance follows a series of press features from this same week, both in the local media, such as Granada Hoy and Ideal, and the national media, such as La Vanguardia and the agency Europa Press. In these publications, we have also shared the programming and objectives of the Pa-ta-ta Festival.
