Fotolibros por el Cambio (Photobooks for Change) is a Pa-ta-ta Festival initiative that aims to promote the circulation and dissemination of photobooks which tackle social, environmental, cultural and community issues linked to the Sustainable Development Goals through different mediums and perspectives.

Every year, the organisers of the Pa-ta-ta Festival select a number of publications to be included in the official programme. As well as showcasing these works, the event aims to bring together authors, readers and anyone interested in photography and publishing.

To extend the lifespan of these publications beyond the festival itself, the selected works are included in a permanent digital gallery on the festival’s website. This section provides basic information about each book, including contact details, websites and sales channels, allowing the authors to promote and circulate their work.

After all, books travel, spark conversations and build a sense of community. Fotolibros por el Cambio aims to be a meeting point for publications that view the world through the prisms of commitment, creativity, and a desire to share new ways of narrating and transforming reality.
