El Reto <\/i>(The Challenge) is a participatory photography initiative promoted by Pa-ta-ta Festival that invites the people from Granada\u2019s towns to explore, through photography, those challenges, values, worries or identitary elements that shape their communities.<\/p>\n

Through a process of collaborative creation, each town will develop a collective photographic project, using images as a tool to foster dialogue, strengthen ties with the local area and share new perspectives on the place they inhabit.<\/p>\n

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Anyone who lives, works or actively participates in the community and social life of any of the participating towns of the province of Granada. This year\u2019s participants are: Almu\u00f1\u00e9car, Bubi\u00f3n, Capileira, Castril,\u00a0 Lanjar\u00f3n, Monachil, Nig\u00fcelas, Pampaneira and Salobre\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

Regardless of age or previous experience in photography; all residents, associations, educative centres, collectives, social entities and interested people are welcome to participate.<\/p>\n

During the months previous to the festival, the participants will develop, with the help of the festival\u2019s mediation team, a collective photographic proposal focused on the challenges, values or aspects of the local identity considered of relevance by each community.<\/p>\n
