El Reto <\/i>(The Challenge) is a participatory photography initiative promoted by Pa-ta-ta Festival that invites people to build collective stories on the places they inhabit and explore their identities, and the challenges important to each community.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Each edition takes place in different municipalities of Granada, which, together with the festival\u2019s mediation team, work to identify which challenges, worries, values or identity-defining elements they want to explore and share. Thus, photography becomes a tool for sparking conversations, strengthening the ties with the town and building new ways of understanding reality by those who live in it everyday.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Through a process of collaborative creation, each town will develop a collective photographic project. The resultant works will be integrated into the festival\u2019s programme, creating a space for photography, territory and citizens to meet.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

El Reto <\/i>proposes a chance to build, in collaboration with those who inhabit each place, new ways to understand, tell and project our town\u2019s present.<\/p>\n
