WHAT ARE THE TABLETOP REVIEWS?<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A space for meeting, dialogue, and personalized guidance between photographers and industry professionals. In a relaxed and intimate atmosphere, each author will present their work to a group of specialists who will provide critical feedback, guidance, and suggestions for the circulation of the reviewed projects.<\/span><\/p>\n

More than just a technical review, the Tabletop Reviews are a formative and community-building experience: we believe in horizontality, exchange, and shared perspectives.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Tabletop Reviews are also part of a traveling photography project through peripheral spaces, with the aim of creating a decentralized photographic circuit. Through collective viewing, cultural agents will select a winning project to be included in the programming of all their venues, each according to their own line of work: exhibitions, workshops, publications, interventions, or other actions. In this way, a collective itinerary is created, multiplying the visibility and projection of the work.<\/span><\/p>\n

HOW MANY PROJECTS WILL PARTICIPATE?

From all the projects submitted to the call, a jury composed of members of the festival team will select between 5 and 10 projects to take part in the reviews and compete for the Tabletop Reviews Award.<\/p>\n

WHAT IS THE AWARD?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The invited cultural agents will jointly select a project to be included in the programming of all their venues \u2014 each from their own line of work \u2014 through exhibitions, workshops, publications, interventions, or other actions to be defined with each agent. This will create a collective itinerary for the awarded work.<\/p>\n

In addition, each participating cultural agent will have full freedom to establish individual collaborations with any projects they find particularly interesting.<\/p>\n

There are two ways to take part in the Tabletop Reviews: by submitting your project or by attending as an observer.<\/p>\n

IF YOU WANT TO SUBMIT YOUR PROJECT, YOU MUST SEND:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013 DOCUMENT in PDF format (maximum 1 MB) including:
\nBiography of the author or collective and contact details: email and phone number (maximum 1,000 characters including spaces)
\nBrief conceptual description of the project (maximum 1,000 characters including spaces)
\nStatement of authorship guaranteeing that the work is original and that you hold all rights to it
\n\u2013 VISUAL SAMPLE including up to 13 photographs from the project (2,000 pixels on the longest side, compressed in .jpg format)<\/p>\n

The DOCUMENT and the VISUAL SAMPLE must be sent in a single ZIP file (maximum 20 MB) through the form available on the festival website at the bottom of this page.

Authors will retain full rights over their work.\u2028Pa-ta-ta Festival is granted the right to exhibit and disseminate the work. The organization may use images from the project for promotional purposes, always crediting the author, in this edition and in future editions.<\/p>\n
