After a pause that began in 2019, and following ten intense years of growth, learning, and collective transformation,\n\n\tPa-ta-ta Festival returns with more conviction, more community, and more awareness.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For a decade, Pa-ta-ta served as a meeting point for photographers, artists, neighbors, students, collectives, and cultural agents. A unique festival that understood photography not as a showcase, but as a tool for dialogue, transformation, and social participation. However, the team behind Pa-ta-ta also understood that continuing to support artistic creation required time to pause, reflect, and rethink.<\/span><\/p>\n

A NEW STAGE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=\u00bb\u00bb]The world is changing \u2013 and so is our perspective. We are living through multiple overlapping crises: climate, social, caregiving, housing, and growing inequality. In this context, art cannot \u2013 and should not \u2013 remain on the sidelines.\n\n\tThat is why Pa-ta-ta Festival is returning with a renewed focus on social impact, collective commitment, and territorial engagement.<\/span><\/p>\n

This pause has not been an empty parenthesis. It has been a fertile time that allowed us to mature a new vision \u2013 one that is more community-driven and, we hope, more sustainable.\n\n\tIn this new stage, we are seeking photographic projects that don\u2019t just represent \u2013 but act. Projects that move beyond highlighting a problem to building responses in collaboration with the people whose stories they tell.<\/span><\/p>\n

This comeback is not about starting over, but about continuing with a new approach. Pa-ta-ta returns with a more engaged model, rooted in the neighborhoods of Granada. Each selected project will be anchored in a specific district and will forge meaningful connections with its local community. We believe photography must once again inhabit public space \u2013 not just as an exhibition, but as a shared experience.<\/p>\n
